The 5 Best Things About Autumn

Here are a few of the things we are most excited about this fall:

1. Candy corn…it’s baaa-aaack!

If you’ve walked through your local Harris Teeter or convenience store in the past few days, you’ve probably already spotted the bags of delicious candies (which, for the record, taste nothing like corn). Whether you’re in it for the candy corn or just like to pick out the delicious candy pumpkins, grab your candy dish–candy corn is back!

2. It’s comfy sweater season.

Forget the “it” trends for this fall. I think we can all agree there’s nothing better than cozying up in a warm knit sweater on a chilly fall day!

3. Pumpkin-flavored…

Everything! Pumpkin lattes, pumpkin muffins, pumpkin soups…you name it, someone will have baked pumpkin in it before the season is over.

4. The colors.

The changing colors of the leaves, the orange hue at sunset–the colors of fall are simply beautiful. There’s nothing quite like walking or driving down a tree-encompassed road in fall.

5. Football seasons and tailgates.

For many, fall means the start of football season. Whether you’re cheering for your alma mater or supporting your local pro team, many spend fall planning tailgates and watching football.
